Believe it Or Not, Summer is Just Around the Corner…

Spring Foundations Begins March 20th


At some point, this winter will end. (It has to, right?)

In fact, 3 months from now we’ll be in the middle of June which means shorts, t-shirts,  swim suits and the official start of summer.  If you want to feel strong and fit this summer, but you’re not sure how to get there, we have a solution! 

At CrossFit Sandpoint, we can get you prepared for whatever summer has in store.  Whether you’re looking to increase endurance, build better body composition or just get moving again–we have the tools you need to sprint into summer feeling confident and fit.

If you’re new to CrossFit, our popular Foundations group program is the perfect place to start. The next session begins Monday, March 20th.  Classes meet 2x a week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30pm for a total of 8 classes.  Each session will be packed full of quality instruction. You won’t be alone, our Foundations class pairs our experienced coaches with newcomers just like you. We know stepping into CrossFit can be intimidating, so this course is all about getting you comfortable. After three weeks you can hop into one of our regular classes and feel confident and ready. 

Foundations is, well, just that, the Foundation of your CrossFit Journey.

The goal is to increase your overall fitness, get you comfortable with how our gym works so you can enter any one of our regular classes feeling confident and ready to tackle whatever workout gets thrown your way.

  • You will learn:
    • Proper form for all the basic CrossFit movements (squat, bend, push, pull, row, run, repeat!)
    • The lingo–what all those acronyms really mean (AMRAP, WOD, EMOM…)
    • The basics of proper post workout self care
    • Basic nutritional guidance
  • The Bonus: while you’re ramping up your physical fitness your overall endurance will improve, you’ll notice changes in your body composition, appearance and an increase in your metabolism. Basically you’ll start summer feeling like a badass.

  • 1 30-Minute Consultation and Goal Setting Session
  • 8 1-Hour Semi-Private CrossFit Classes Designed to Get You Started
  • 1 Week of Unlimited Group CrossFit classes after your 8 Foundations classes

So, what happens after Foundations?

You’ll be feeling pretty good! You’ll have made working out a habit and you’ll be ready to jump into one our regular classes. Foundations is just the beginning and you can continue to make awesome progress as you join the CrossFit Community. And that may be all you need to meet your goals. 

Or…you may want a little more. In addition to CrossFit training we offer comprehensive Nutrition coaching for that final push to meet your goals.  Our Nutrition clients develop habits that surpass short-term crash/fad diets and allow them to progress for the rest of their lives. We want your Summer body to be your normal body, not the end result of some wacky scheme that isn’t anywhere near realistic or healthy.  

We believe in long-term, in starting where you are and what your life allows for. We believe that gradual progression creates habits and habits are the KEY to your success. 

(We do suggest getting started with the fitness side of things before diving into nutrition. While we believe in change, too much at once and you’re likely to find yourself on the couch with a bag of potato chips in a month.)
