Three months from now…

Spring Foundations Begins March 15th

Summer is just around the corner.

In fact, 3 months from now we’ll be in the middle of June, which means shorts, t-shirts,  swim suits (hopefully) and the official start of summer.  With that in mind, now is the perfect time to start getting ready for whatever activities you have planned in the Sun.

At CrossFit Sandpoint, we can help you prepare.  If you’re new to CrossFit, you can start with our popular Foundations program for only $100.  Our next 4-week session begins Tuesday, March 15th.  Classes will meet 2x a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm for a total of 8 classes.  Each session will be packed full of quality instruction and fun.

  • Foundations is the beginning of the CrossFit journey. The goal is to increase your overall fitness, get you comfortable with how our gym works so you can enter any one of our regular classes feeling confident and ready to tackle whatever workout gets thrown your way.
  • You will learn:
    •  Proper form for all the basic CrossFit movements (squat, bend, push, pull, row, run, repeat!)
    • The lingo–what all those acronyms really mean (AMRAP, WOD, EMOM…)
    • The basics of proper post workout self care
    • Basic nutritional guidance
  • The Bonus: while you’re ramping up your physical fitness your overall endurance will improve, you’ll notice changes in your body composition, appearance and an increase in your metabolism. Basically you’ll start summer feeling like a badass.

After the 4 week session has concluded, you will be energized and ready to jump into our regular classes.

Check out the schedule here. These classes are led by the same coaches who run will have run your Foundations session, so you’ll already be comfortable working with them, and they’ll know how to coach you best in order to meet your goals.

As you continue to to spend more time in the gym, you will get to know the wonderful group of people that make up our membership/family here at CrossFit Sandpoint.  Though it can be intimidating to workout with a group of strangers,  if you read through our Testimonials, you’ll notice that almost every single one of them mentions the incredible community and group of people that they get to work out with everyday.  So, although it can be intimidating at first, that group of people may just become some of your favorite people in Sandpoint.

After your first few months, you’ll be feeling pretty good about your workout habits, and your ability to follow a solid schedule of exercise. You can continue to make awesome progress in our classes, and that may be all you need to get to where you want to go.  Or, you can also pair it with some Nutrition coaching for that final push to meet your goals.  Our Nutrition clients develop habits that surpass short term crash/fad diets and allow them to progress for the rest of their lives.  Through our coaching, you will gain a knowledge of proper nutritional habits for your goals, not just a template of some of the popular trends that really don’t take the individual into consideration.  We start by working from where you are and where your lifestyle habits are currently.  This allows for a gradual progression (and still attains awesome results) that you will be likely to stick to for the rest of your life, not a just a 30 day window where you aren’t allowed to eat anything that casts a shadow.  We do suggest getting started with the fitness side of things before diving into nutrition as well, as too much change at once is generally not sustainable long term.
