I might just be the most boring man on the planet.
I eat the same thing everyday.
I buy and wear neutral colors (except my kickass pink Metcons).
I workout at the same time every day and follow the program I’m coached to follow.
And I love all of it.
Why?
Because I don’t have to think about any of it.
Life is just too dang busy and overwhelming to have to make all the constructs up on the fly.
And I think that 99% of people go through life thinking they’re failures because they lack the motivation or creativity to make 100 “right” decisions in the spur of the moment throughout the day.
They’re not. They’re just normal folks who have left way too many things up to chance and hope.
In fact, I know this because that’s why 99% of people sign up and keep coming to our gym.
We take all the thought out of it.
They show up (and if they don’t, we kidnap them), the coach is there to tell them what to do, when to start, when to finish and how to do everything. And if they’re not seeing the progress they want, the coach tells them what to do to change that.
So there’s no more thought involved with their fitness. Sure there is some effort, but nearly all of the battle lies in just getting there.
That’s not how it is for the empty gyms around the world (that are getting progressively more and more empty now that it’s February).
So if you’re in the boat of feeling like you just lack the motivation to make the right choice, you’re not alone. That’s all of us.
Make less decisions and only give yourself one decision. It might be boring, but it works.
And if you’re tired of making your own fitness decisions, you only have to make one more, the one where you choose to send me a message and let me help.
