In 2020, we chose to de-affiliate.
Not because we stopped believing in hard work.
Not because we stopped loving barbells.
Not because we stopped coaching intensity.
We stepped away because we wanted clarity.
We believe in the principles of strength and conditioning — not randomness.
Everything we do inside our walls is intentionally designed.
A progression. A plan. A purpose behind every phase.
We draw inspiration from everywhere — powerlifting, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, aerobic development, sports performance, longevity research.
Fitness isn’t a religion. It’s a discipline.
And discipline requires intention.
Most importantly, we train people for life outside the gym. It’s not about “winning a workout” our job is to provide workouts that prepare you…
To ski Schweitzer without being sore for days.
To hunt the back country.
To hike the Selkirks in the summer without worrying you’ll hold everyone up.
To play a pickup game with your kids.
For aging strongly and as independently as possible.
Being the best in the gym isn’t the goal. The gym is a tool to get you all of the above.
We chose to stop wearing the CrossFit title so there would be zero confusion about what we represent:
Our job isn’t to make you exhausted it’s to prepare you for the life you want to live outside of the gym.
Stronger.
More durable.
More capable in the real world.
That’s who we are.
And we wanted our name to reflect it.
