Lazy

You’re not lazy.

You’re normal.

You need peer support.

Also normal.

I mention this because of the sheer volume of people who dejectedly sit across from me in consultations and say, “I don’t know why, but I just can’t workout on my own.”

I smile and say, “yeah, me neither.”  (and it’s true, I really can’t).

It’s my opinion that the only people who truly enjoy and truly succeed working out alone are psychopaths and narcissists.  (Yeah you, Goggins.)

The rest of us walk into the gym alone and wander around, wondering if we really need to do all those sets we said we would.

That’s all totally normal.

So don’t be ashamed of it, embrace it.

Find a great group of people who you will look forward to spending time with, who will inspire you to do more with, and who will help you make sure that your hour in the gym is as impactful as it should be.

I’m clearly biased, but the people here at Sandpoint Strength are those people.  They make me better. I look forward to spending time with them and usually, when that hour-long workout is over, the time has flown by so fast that I hang out for a while longer.

So if you’re tired of lamely meandering around the gym, wondering if you’ve done enough to call it a workout, come join up with us, and never wonder again.
