MOnday, Wednesday, Friday 9-10am
Starts tomorrow, April 1st!
Our CrossFit Lite classes will follow the same principles as our normal CrossFit classes, but lighter!
We will focus on the same, constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement CrossFit is know for, but there will be no heavy lifting, no olympic weightlifting, and none of the higher skill type movements that are common in our regular classes.
What will classes be like?
“Lite” is a simple, and intense conditioning program. You can expect a warm-up where our coachess will prepare you for everything you will do in your WOD (Work Out of the Day) and they will be with you every step of the way. You will be challenged but we won’t throw anything at you that you can’t handle.
The “Lite” classes will exclude our more challenging CrossFit movements, so you won’t be doing handstand pushups, muscle ups, rope climbs, Olympic lifts or the like. You will be doing the basic cardio and bodyweight movements like pushups, air squats, sit-ups, running, jump rope, etc. We will also throw in some medicine ball, kettlebell and empty barbell exercises, but the focus will not be on strength. We will focus on endurance, flexibility and stamina.
Who’s it for?
- Those who may be intimidated or feel like they aren’t quite ready to join our normal CrossFit classes, but are still looking for a great community to reach their fitness goals
- Those who want a longer transition time before moving into our normal classes
- Those who want to work on their basic levels of cardiovascular fitness and body awareness before moving on to higher skill and heavier movements that are found in normal classes
When is it?
Our CrossFit Lite class is offered M-W-F at 9am. This is a trial period to start, and will likely expand with demand.
Just like our normal classes, you can join anytime and we’ll pro-rate your membership based on when you begin.
CrossFit Lite is offered for $100/month. This price is subject to change as the schedule expands.
